Multi-Product Suite Gateway Use Cases: Identity, Entitlements & Federated Launch
How a suite gateway solves fragmented logins, per-tenant SKU entitlements, service-link registries, and auth handoff across CRM, finance, receptionist, and operations products.
Multi-Product Suite Gateway Use Cases: Identity, Entitlements & Federated Launch
Operators adding CRM, POS, finance, HR, inventory, and voice receptionist modules do not want a new login and tenant model every quarter. A suite gateway centralizes identity, entitlements, and product discovery — while each product keeps its own API, portal, and database.
Tekvers ships Suite Platform as the control plane for modular business software. This article maps the operating patterns we repeat across gateway-led suites — without coupling product persistence.

Use case 1: New tenant goes live Monday morning
A suite operator creates an org tenant, enables CRM and Receptionist SKUs, registers service links (API base URL + portal URL per product), and invites the owner.
Outcome: The owner logs into Suite Home and sees both products ready to launch — one membership model, zero shared database tables.
Use case 2: Sales closes a finance upsell
Finance was not entitled last month. The operator toggles the finance SKU on and registers the Finance service link.
Outcome: The customer's Suite Home immediately shows Finance in the launcher. No redeploy of CRM or other products.
Use case 3: Staff opens CRM from Suite Home
The user clicks CRM in the federated launcher. Platform issues a single-use handoff token. The CRM portal validates it and opens a session.
Outcome: No second login prompt. Gateway identity stays separate from product session stores.
Use case 4: Audit after entitlement changes
An operator pulls the audit log to see who changed entitlements, added a service link, or modified tenant membership yesterday.
Outcome: Compliance and support teams have a single operator action trail at the gateway layer.
Use case 5: Federated operator dashboard
Leadership wants counts and health signals across entitled products — not five separate admin consoles.
Outcome: Suite Home aggregates platform entity counts and remote product overview metrics when service links are configured. Each product still owns domain data.
What the gateway does NOT do
- Store CRM pipelines, finance journals, or inventory lots
- Block direct API access to a product when you have its credentials
- Replace enterprise SAML/OIDC — handoff is for suite navigation; SSO can layer later
When to build a gateway vs stay monolith
| Signal | Gateway | Monolith |
|---|---|---|
| Sell modules on independent SKUs | Yes | Painful |
| Teams ship on different cadences | Yes | Release train bottleneck |
| Single product, single team | Overkill | Fine |
| Operators need one login across modules | Yes | Custom admin only |
