Solana wallet & trading ecosystem
DEGN DApp
Multi-client Solana wallet and trading platform—NestJS/MongoDB APIs, Turnkey custodial wallets, Jupiter spot trading, admin dashboard, and Android/React Native clients.

Background & Context
DEGN is a multi-platform Solana cryptocurrency wallet and trading product under D:\Projects\Degn. Clients authenticate with email OTP, use custodial wallets (Turnkey), trade via Jupiter, and manage portfolios. Canonical production-shaped API is apidegn (NestJS + MongoDB, versioned /api/v1). Companion surfaces include zegn-dashboard (Vite React admin), Android (Kotlin Compose), React Native, standalone degn-buy Jupiter DEX API (backend only—frontend/ empty), and an older degn-main-backend-develop subset.
Solana traders otherwise stitch wallets, DEX UIs, fiat bridges, and portfolio trackers—creating friction and security risk. DEGN consolidates OTP auth, Turnkey wallet fields with OTP-gated export, buy/sell/send transactions, token catalog/graphs/categories, referrals, MoonPay signature helpers, plus apidegn-only fiat-exchange and Hyperliquid-oriented perpetual-trading modules.
Honest scope: iOS is a Swift Package scaffold, not a shipped App Store app; degn-buy has no in-repo web UI; perpetual/fiat modules exist as schemas/controllers with integration nuance documented in specialized Hyperliquid/Nexchange docs—production readiness varies by module.
The Challenge
Solana traders needed custodial wallet UX, spot swaps, portfolio balances, referrals, and ops tooling in one product family instead of fragmented third-party tools—with mobile and admin surfaces on a shared API. Without a coherent solana wallet & trading ecosystem foundation, DEGN DApp stakeholders faced fragmented tools, slow handoffs, and limited visibility—classic failure modes Tekvers designs against.
The Solution
DEGN DApp: Multi-client Solana wallet and trading platform—NestJS/MongoDB APIs, Turnkey custodial wallets, Jupiter spot trading, admin dashboard, and Android/React Native clients. Cohesive Solana wallet/trading product family live around degn.app. Tekvers delivered a maintainable solana wallet & trading ecosystem system for DEGN DApp using NestJS, MongoDB, Next.js, React, with phased rollout, operator workflows, and documentation suited to long-term ownership.
Our Approach
Trading core & token ops
`apidegn` transaction buy/sell/send, token listing/spotlight/graphs, categories, admin graph cron helpers (CoinGecko/CMC), and parallel Jupiter quote/swap modules in `degn-buy` for DEX-focused flows.
Wallet, fiat, and advanced surfaces
Turnkey custodial fields + OTP-gated export; MoonPay buy/sell signatures; Nexchange-oriented fiat-exchange orders; Hyperliquid-oriented perpetual markets/positions/orders/PnL APIs in `apidegn`.
Multi-client delivery
Shared Nest services power Android Compose screens, React Native (Zustand + Solana web3), and `zegn-dashboard` admin routes for users, tokens, balances, transactions, and market monitoring—marketing site separated into `degn-website`.
What We Delivered
- NestJS `apidegn` API (auth, account, user, token, transaction, referral, fiat-exchange, perpetual-trading, wallet-export, admin)
- Turnkey custodial wallet fields with OTP-gated export endpoints
- Jupiter-oriented spot trading (transaction module + standalone `degn-buy` DEX API)
- Token catalog, price graphs, categories, and referral rewards APIs
- Vite/React admin dashboard (`zegn-dashboard`) for ops
- Kotlin Jetpack Compose Android client and React Native client
- MoonPay signature helpers and Nexchange/fiat-exchange module surfaces
- Docker/Vercel deployment patterns for API and hosted frontends
Outcomes & Impact
- Cohesive Solana wallet/trading product family live around degn.app
- Custodial UX with portfolio balances and referral hooks
- Ops tooling for token catalog and market monitoring
- Documented boundaries for incomplete iOS and empty `degn-buy` frontend
DEGN traders move from OTP connect to custodial wallet actions and Jupiter swaps inside one Tekvers-built ecosystem—fewer fragmented tools, clearer portfolios, and admin visibility—without claiming unfinished iOS or empty frontends as shipped.
